Sherbrooke launches ­formal call for ­Wellington South ­projects

Record staff – The City of Sherbrooke launched its call for proposals for the development of a project to replace the defunct Well Inc. plan in the Wellington St. South area.
The call for proposals is intended for Quebec promoters with a minimum of 15 years experience in the realization of real estate projects.
Projects submitted must include the demolition of existing structures and the preparation of the site. A public multi-storey parking lot must also be provided as well as a public square. An area of at least 70,000 sq. ft. must also be reserved for the Entrepreneurship Headquarters, whose main building will have a minimum of four storeys and a maximum of ten.
