Sherbrooke library taking reservations

Record Staff

Sherbrooke’s Eva Senecal Memorial Library reopens to the public Monday, June 8 for the first time since March, but those looking to get their hands on a good read should be aware that things will not be business as usual.
In order to keep library users and staff as safe as possible, those looking to borrow books or other media from the library will need to order them in advance by email. Library members can consult the catalogue online at bibliotheques.sherbrooke.ca and indicate the books they would like to take out by emailing bibliotheque@ville.sherbrooke.qc.ca. A phone service is planned but not yet operational.
Pick up of reserved books will be by appointment only.
The Lennoxville library opened using a similar model last week, but the Bertrand-Delisle and Saint-Élie libraries will remain closed for the time being.
These measures are expected to change with time.
