Sherbrooke Rotary Club turns 100

By Matthew McCully – A lot has changed within the Sherbrooke Rotary Club since it first began in 1919. According to past President Roger St-Aubin, the club used to be mostly English. Its first project was to help get public washrooms built in Sherbrooke. While membership of the club has changed over the years, its mission to serve the local community has remained the same. Each year, the Sherbrooke Rotary Club holds fundraising events and helps support around 50 different community organizations. St-Aubin said the Sherbrooke club keeps a focus on helping youth in the area. See full story in the Wednesday, Jan. 9 edition of The Record.
