The City of Sherbrooke will not be clearing the snow left over from last weekend’s storm. Despite a snowfall of more than 30 cm, the city has opted not to carry out snow-removal operations, arguing that the snow will melt by itself as a result of warm temperatures expected over the course of the week, and adding that snow clearing during a thaw period risks further damaging the already pothole-filled roads.
