Sherbrooke swimmers can let their hair down

This week marked the start of the summer public pool season in Sherbrooke, with five of the city’s twelve pools opening for the first time as of Monday. Keen observers will note that something is a little different this year, however. Following a change to the way the pool filtration is managed, swimmers are no longer required to wear bathing caps at any of the outdoor public pools in the city. Formerly an obligation in order to help keep hair out of the filtration system, bathing caps are now only for those who wish to wear them, freeing up swimmers to let their hair down a little over the coming months.
