Sherbrooke taxi drivers walk out against Bill 17

Record Staff – Taxi drivers in Sherbrooke will be on partial strike Monday to protest Quebec’s Bill 17, a proposed law deregulating the taxi industry, tabled last Wednesday by Minister François Bonnardel. Unlike their counterparts elsewhere in the province, Sherbrooke drivers will only halt their activities from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. See full story in the Monday, March 25 edition of The Record.
