Record Staff – The City of Sherbrooke is advising the public that its Department of Maintenance and Roads will proceed with the removal of the snow banks Sunday evening. Snow banks will be removed along streets that are lined with sidewalks or that include a school corridor. The operation will begin this Sunday, around 10 p.m. and will last about five nights. Parking in the streets between midnight and 7 a.m. will remain prohibited throughout the duration of these operations. The City of Sherbrooke encourages its citizens to respect blackout hours and to put out their bins the morning of collection and to put them away as soon as possible.
