Sherbrooke walk to mark forty  years of Friendship Force

For the thirteenth year in a row Force de L’amitié Sherbrooke, the local branch of an organization known as Friendship Force International (FFI), will be hosting a walk around Lac des Nation on the night of March first. Set to start at 6:15pm near the Armand-Nadeau pavilion in Sherbrooke’s Jacques Cartier Park, the event aims to bring the people of Sherbrooke closer together through a symbolic stroll through the nations and cultures of the world.
“We see ourselves as citizens of the world,” said Hélène Ouellet, coordinator of the evening event, explaining that the activity is meant to be a way for people to connect regardless of cultural differences.
