By Matthew McCully – While most Canadians were at parades, parties or any number of activities associated with celebrating the nation’s birthday, a group of 44 people, coming from 13 different countries, started a new tradition; they celebrated their very first Canada Day as Canadians, having participated at a citizenship ceremony held on Sunday at Parc Jacques Cartier in Sherbrooke.
