Sherbrooke’s youth centres unite for roadblock

Sherbrooke’s eight youth centres will be holding the fourth edition of a ‘roadblock’, to raise funds in support of teens aged 12 to 17 across the city.The charity roadblock will be held on Sept. 30, 2023, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. across the city to raise funds to support youth activities and programs. The eight youth centers provide healthy, safe, and stimulating spaces for teens aged 12 to 17. Thanks to the varied program of activities – preventive, educational, cultural sports and play activities, they help young people discover themselves, develop skills and realize their full potential.

How to get involved?

Members of the community are encouraged to participate in this special event.

Here are just a few ways to support the cause:

  1. Contribute financially: volunteers will be available at a dozen or so intersections throughout Sherbrooke to collect monetary donations.
  2. Spread the word: Share this event with friends, family, and colleagues to spread the word about the fundraising campaign.
  3. Become a volunteer: help raise funds on roadblock day. Contact your local youth center.

Every dollar raised at this event goes directly to helping young people and support youth centre’s mission.
