Since 2005 the SPCA Montérégie has been working behind the scenes with its MNA Pierre Paradis to make changes to legislation regarding animal rights. All members of the grass roots organization are delighted with the news that Bill 54, “An Act to improve the legal situation of animals,” has finally been passed.
