St. Onge fulfills her dream of operating a dance studio

By Steve Blake – Patricia St. Onge is an ambitious woman. She has a husband and four kids. She works full time at a bank. She’s a life coach. She works part time as a bartender and waitress. She’s working on writing a book. And she’s recording her first album of original music. But she’s about to get even busier. St. Onge is ready to open Legworks Dance Studio in downtown Knowlton. Dancing has been her passion for almost 28 years, she said in a recent interview. “When I was a kid I used to live in the dance studio,” she said. When she was small her parents built a platform in her bedroom on which she could dance without disturbing the rest of the household. She danced in competitions as a teenager and performed in shows later. Her specialty is clogging and she’s done some Irish step dancing.
