Stanstead’s annual 5K race, which benefits local educational support organization Phelps Helps, was held this past weekend with some 68 runners between the ages of 6 and 87 taking part. According to Phelps Helps Executive Director Katie Lowry, a number of the more seasoned runners involved this year have been running in the event annually since it was started 20 years ago. Lowry made particular note of the involvement of 87-year-old Jean Bernaguez, who she said has been running since day one. See full story in the Tuesday, May 14 edition of The Record.
