The Amedee Beaudoin community centre in Lennoxville was full Thursday night with teachers, coaches, family, and interested community members, there to hear students from five high schools participate in a public speaking contest. The Canadian Federaton of University Women (CFUW) public speaking contest celebrated its 24th anniversary with a variety of speeches given by students in two categories.
