Record Staff
The Townships Regional Union of Support Staff (TRUSS) went on strike Wednesday and gathered in front of the school transport offices on Galt Street in Sherbrooke to demonstrate their dissatisfaction with collective agreement negotiations.
The union originally had a two-day strike plan, but midday Wednesday it was announced that the strike action planned for Thursday had been cancelled.
The Fédération du personnel de soutien scolaire (FPSS-CSQ) sent out a notice explaining the reason for the suspension to members.
