“Tea Time at Uplands” to highlight English community on TV

Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre will be putting together television program for the Videotron community channel MaTV this summer with the aim of highlighting different aspects of the English-speaking community in the Eastern Townships. “The show is going to be called Tea time at Uplands,” said Nancy Robert, Director of Uplands, explaining that hosts Katherine Owen and Wade Lynch will interview 18 people over the course of the show’s six episodes, touching on topics ranging from sports, education, volunteering, and new Townshippers to community life.
