Hope will once again fill the streets this year on Sunday, Sept. 18 as communities across Canada and all over the world gather in person for the annual Terry Fox Run.
Bishop’s College School and Stanstead College are both hosting events this weekend, and community members are invited to join.
Local schools will follow suit in the coming weeks to resume the longstanding tradition of paying tribute to the strength and determination of Terry Fox, and join in his mission to fight cancer.
“Everybody is in kind of a celebratory mood, looking forward to getting back together,” Terry’s brother Fred Fox said, in a recent phone interview with The Record.
