Avante Women’s Centre is part of a coalition of women’s groups from Haut-Yamaska and Brome-Missisquoi, including the District of Cowansville Women’s Centre, Entr’Elles women’s centre in Granby, Horizon Pour Elle women’s shelter in Cowansville, Maison Alice Desmarais in Granby, and CALACS from Granby.

The 12 Days of Action run from November 25 to December 6. November 25 is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, declared in 1999 by the United Nations, stating that these acts of violence contradict our efforts towards equality and peace.
