By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – It was a bittersweet moving day at 170, Queen Street on Wednesday, April 10 for members of the Espace 100 Noms community. The space, which is now closed, provided various activities like yoga, poetry nights, communal singing and dancing, and vegan meals, all on a basis of voluntary contribution. “We weren’t employees,” said Yohan Cyr, who cooked and grew veggies and herbs for the collective kitchen which opened in 2013. “We were collaborators. There was no juridical or legal hierarchy. We participated in all our activities because we believe in the benefits of nourishing your mind and your body.” See full story in the Thursday, April 11 edition of The Record.
