The Expos will face Saint-Jérôme in best two of three series

The Sherbrooke Expos suffered losses of 10-0 and 17-6 on Saturday against the Cactus in Victoriaville and the Blue Sox in Thetford Mines.
These setbacks in the last two games of the season meant that manager Bruno Laurin’s squad finished fifth in the Louisville Slugger (west) section with a record of 12 wins and 18 losses behind the Saint-Jérôme Cardinals.
In the game in Victoriaville, only Bruno Laurin and Guillaume Laguë had hits against Didier Landry and Philippe Saad.
Jairo Leiva saw the Cactus players register six runs in the opening round.
Afterwards, the Expos went to complete a game that had been suspended on Aug. 7 against the Blue Sox in Thetford Mines.
The score was 12-6 for the Thetford team when the match was suspended due to rain.
