By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – The Lampe Foundation held its annual awards night on Thursday, Dec. 6 at Uplands Cultural and Heritage Centre. The Foundation grants members of the Eastern Townships community with scholarships and bursaries and has given over $250,000 in awards since 1993. Over thirty-some awards valued at over $35,000 are distributed every year to students at all levels in the education sector. Students in vocational training centres, secondary schools, CEGEP, and university at the bachelor and master levels are recognized. See full story in the Monday, Dec. 10 edition of The Record.
