Sherbrooke’s annual Festival des Traditions du Monde is on this weekend, with performances and cultural events taking place at venues and locations across the city.
Programming kicked off Thursday afternoon with Flávia Nascimento at the Parvis hall in Fleurimont and the Afri – Jazz Trio at Square Queen, but both free and ticketed events will take place through the end of Sunday night. Other artists on the lineup include 2018 Polaris music prize winner Jeremy Dutcher, who will be in Lennoxville on Saturday, and Acadian hip-hop group Radio Radio who play the Granada on Friday evening.
Because of restrictions on space related to public health directives, people interested in attending a show are encouraged to register in advance through the festival’s website at https://ftms.ca/en/schedule/
