Travelling into Canada: Know before you go

Record Staff

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) would like to remind travellers returning home and fully vaccinated foreign nationals visiting Canada to ensure that they meet all entry requirements before heading to the border or the airport.

All travellers coming to Canada must submit their mandatory information in ArriveCAN (free App or website), including their digital proof of vaccination and a quarantine plan within 72 hours before arriving in Canada. When using the ArriveCAN App, travelers should make sure they have the most up-to-date version in the Google Play Store and the App Store for iPhone. Travellers without a smartphone or without mobile data can submit their information by signing in online at www.canada.ca/arrivecan.

ArriveCAN remains mandatory for everyone, regardless if travellers enter by land/air/marine or how long they were away from Canada. All travellers must submit their mandatory information in ArriveCAN including proof of vaccination in English or French and a quarantine plan before arriving in Canada.
