Triolet teacher arrested for ­sexual exploitation of minors

The Sherbrooke Police Criminal Investigation Division arrested a 44-year-old woman Wednesday on suspicion of computer luring, incitement to sexual touching, sexual contact, sexual exploitation, pornography and child pornography against two male victims of minor age.
Police were made aware of the situation just a few days ago. The suspect is a teacher at the Triolet secondary school. Out of respect for the court, the SPS will not disclose any other information specific to the investigation. SPS investigators are working closely with criminal prosecutors in this case, and further charges may be filed. The Youth Protection Branch is also involved in the file.
The Sherbrooke Police wants to ­inform the public of these events and is asking anyone who might have information to contact 819-821-5555.
The suspect, a resident of Sherbrooke, appeared Thursday to face counts of computer luring and ­incitement to sexual touching, sexual contact, ­sexual exploitation, pornography, and child pornography.
