A truck fire was the cause of some excitement in Richmond Friday morning. According to Sgt. Marie-Michèle Moore of the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) two vehicles, a car and a transport truck, were involved in the accident, which took place at 7:45 a.m. near the intersection of Gouin Street and Route 116/143, not far from the Frederick-Coburn Bridge. Although there is no information about the cause of the accident as of yet, the end result was that the truck ended up in the ditch and on fire.
