Vigilance committee wants local governance for Magog Hospital

During a press conference held yesterday at Magog City Hall, the Memphremagog Hospital Vigilance Committee (CVHM) expressed a need for the return of local governance at the Magog Hospital.
According to the committee, the centralization of services implemented during the major administrative restructuring of 2015 has resulted in a degradation of services at the health centre, to the detriment of employees and users.
“The reform of the healthcare system and resulting centralization is a failure in Magog; It doesn’t work,” commented CVHM President Jean-Guy Gingras. See full story in the Wednesday, June 27 edition of The Record.
