The Wales Home welcomed 70 people both in-person and online to an information session on Saturday for its newest expansion project, The Ross. Named in honour of former Wales Home Foundation President Charles Ross, the new building will feature 42 independent living apartments for people aged 55 and up, and is expected to be complete by the end of 2022.
“We’re very proud of the project that we’re building,” said Brendalee Piironen, the home’s Executive Director. “It is something that is going to be very unique.”
