Wednesday storm damage in Sherbrooke

Although Sherbrooke was not as badly hit by the strong storm winds as other parts of the province, the owners of several cars parked in the lot behind Plymouth-Trinity United Church on Dufferin Street were surprised to find a large tree on top of their vehicles Wednesday evening. Although it is unclear whether anyone saw the tree fall, witnesses on site after the fact told The Record that only one of the six vehicles struck had to be removed via tow truck, with the majority of the damage being broken glass and/or cosmetic body damage.
