Submitted by Andrew Retchless – Everyone is asking, what’s wrong with the weather. Actually, April is a fickle month, where winter can drag on or spring can bloom. This has been very typical for us over the past four years with the cold dragging on into April. It looks like we will have a few more days of below normal temperatures before we see a nice warm-up towards week’s end! On Monday we had a stalled front just to the south of the international border. There was a sharp temperature gradient across this front with mixed precipitation to the north of the front and rain to the south. See full story in the Tuesday, April 9 edition of The Record.
