Record archives blast from the past

Plenty of Townshippers have fond memories of connecting with friends and having a grand old time at Canada Day celebrations in the area.
The Record would like to see just how far back those memories can stretch.
According to the cryptic labeling on the back of this photo, it was taken during Canada Day celebrations in Bury in 1986.
Unfortunately, none of the runners in this photo were named.
Based on their age range in 1986, these speedsters are likely in their late 30s-40s now.
So take a close look and think back. Were you in Bury at the time? Do you remember running in a race? Do you know who the winner was?
