By Matthew McCully – Students from Lisa Eryou’s Grade 3 class at Sherbrooke Elementary School stopped by The Record office Thursday to get the whos, whats, whens, wheres and whys of the newspaper business. Reporter Gordon Lambie gave the students a tour of the pressroom to show how the paper is printed. He also walked them through the very first edition of the Sherbrooke Record, published on Feb. 9, 1897, to show the students what the news of the day was 121 years ago.
