Orford MNA Gilles Bélanger recently announced a donation of $44,100, collected from among members of the National Assembly, which will be divided between to two local organizations whose mission is to promote school perseverance among young people.
The Christian Vachon Foundation, which supports vulnerable families throughout the school year in the Estrie and Montérégie regions, and Phelps Helps, an organization that offers services to young people to help them stay in school in the Stanstead area, are sharing a sum of over $20,000 each.
