Warm weather means camping, walking, and hiking – however, the season also brings undesirable parasites, like ticks. Pets are often among the first of the season to get bit, and the Quebec government identifies the Eastern Townships as one an established tick zone. Blacklegged ticks, which can carry Lyme disease, are especially important to look out for.
