Over the weekend Townshippers and Quebecers alike flocked to Barnston West for ShazamFest, Quebec’s only Néo-Vaudeville festival. Festivalgoers enjoyed a multitude of events, including circus performances, poetry, wrestling, musical talent, and kids’ activities.
“I don’t think we beat any records as far as attendance goes, but (Sunday’s attendance) was amazing,” said ShazamFest founder and director Ziv Przytyk. He pointed towards the circus acts and the progression of the musical shows as his favourite part of the weekend.
