On Saturday, two brothers from Magog, Eric and Daniel Phendler, will embark on a canoe trip that is ambitious to say the least. They plan to paddle their way across the Mississippi, that is, a trek of a whopping 3,700 kilometers.
Starting their journey in Minnesota, the brothers expect to end their three-month long, ten-state wide trip in Louisiana. During the voyage, they will be raising funds using GoFundMe to support Memphrémagog Conservation Inc. See full story in the Friday, June 29 edition of The Record.
