It wasn’t a cat, it wasn’t a rat. It was an opossum. Last week, while driving along a country road in Foster Village of TBL, Karen Bombardier, at the last minute noticed what she thought was a cat emerging from the ditch. By the time she had stopped the vehicle, the animal had been struck. She got out to check to see if it was still alive and discovered that the catlike image that lay limp on the ground was something she could not identify.
