At this time of year it’s usually the students partying in large numbers on a sunny afternoon. In this instance, the annual community block party, hosted by Hope Community Church, was the party place to be on Sunday. Hundreds gathered behind the church for a variety of activities and entertainment, including a musical performance by Mireille Pruneau. Published in the Monday, September 11 edition of The Record.
