Students from Bishop’s University in the Graduate Certificate in Brewing Science program gained valuable industry feedback during their end of the year showcase held Thursday night.

On April 13 at the Golden Lion Pub in Lennoxville, graduating students showcased the more than 11 hand-crafted beers on tap or in bottles they have brewed. Members of the public had the opportunity to meet the students of the 2023 graduating class and have them explain their beers.

“We’re showcasing some of the best beers we brewed this year and seeing how the public reacts,” said Christophe Nadon, a student at Bishop’s University in the Graduate Certificate in Brewing Science program.

Nadon highlighted some of the beers available for the showcase included a blonde, brewed with fresh rosemary and a hint of lavender, an American Pale Ale with a wave of citrus and tropical fruits, a classic stout, an Irish red ale and many others.

With the sun shining and the patio packed with locals tasting the many different beers available, Nadon said it was the perfect day to hear from locals and get valuable feedback on some of the recipes he’s been working on since September.
