By Emilie Hackett, Special to the Record – Nearly 40 people attended the Townshippers’ Association’s “Eating healthy on a budget” Health Link talk on Wednesday, March 20, in Bury. Karine Valade of Cuisines Collectives du Haut-Saint-François gave a presentation about low-cost eating and attendees were able to sample various healthy recipes, on top of being offered a meal, and participated in a food-related workshop. Health Link is a series of English-language health information sessions for Haut-Saint-François residents. Attendees came all the way from Bury, Cookshire, East Angus, Sawyerville, and more. Last week’s session began with a beef stew meal with mashed potatoes, salads, pickles, and many deserts. See full story in the Tuesday, March 26 edition of The Record.
