Magog residents with a residential swimming pool have been reminded to follow the new safety standards established by the province in July 2021.
The Ministère des Affaires municipales et de l’Habitation (MAMH) has given Quebecers until July 1, 2023 to apply the new safety standards, which includes adding a fence or barrier and a clearance strip of at least one meter around the pool. There are also new diving board rules.
