More road work projects on the way in Sherbrooke

Several road projects set to get started in the city of Sherbrooke over the coming weeks will likely have an impact on traffic.
Probably the most significant of the projects is the repaving of King Street West between J-A-Bombardier and Radisson streets to help remove ruts that have formed in the road surface. Although not expected to begin until next week, the work is expected to take the better part of a week to complete and will result in a reduction of the roadway to one lane in each direction.
Looking ahead to the work, Sherbrooke’s Director of Urban Infrastructure, Caroline Gravel pointed out that more than 20,000 drivers travel over this section of road every day and encouraged those who do to plan alternative routes to get where they are going.
