Police concerned about safety of missing teen

Record Staff – Sherbrooke Police are urgently looking for a 15-year old Sherbrooke girl who has been missing since Tuesday. Éléona Rivard-Whissell left the home in which she was staying on July 17 and has not been heard from since. Police and her family are concerned about her physical and psychological well-being and, particularly, that some people could be taking advantage of her vulnerability.
She is described as a 15-year-old Caucasian girl with black hair and brown eyes. She is French-speaking, weighs 45 kg (99 lbs) and stands about 1.73 m (5’2”). She was last seen wearing a black sweater with black shorts. Anyone with any information as to her whereabouts is asked to call the Sherbrooke Police at (819) 821-5544.
