Quebec moves to gut English access committees

Although much of the concern being heard right now from Quebec’s English communities revolves around the upcoming hearings around Bill 96, which seeks to revise the province’s language laws, representatives of the Quebec Community Groups Network say that the government also quietly presented a revision to the Act Respecting Health Services and Social Services over the summer that could completely undermine the access and rights that English speakers have within the healthcare system.
