Sherbrooke’s Lac-des-Nations boardwalk was full of life Monday afternoon, as people of all ages were out walking, jogging, cycling and lounging with the sun beaming down on them.
Eloise Bastien, a psychology student at the Université de Sherbrooke, sat under a tree facing the lake. She had her laptop out and textbook open, working on school work but taking advantage of the weather. It was her second day in a row spent at the lake.
“It’s a really nice feeling, it’s like finally just giving a little bit of hope in there and a bit more motivation for studies, too,” said Bastien.
She told The Record that with summer approaching, there is energy in the air.
