An interesting sight could be spotted in the skies over the Eastern Townships on Monday morning: a rainbow halo encircling the sun. Although some might be familiar with similar rings forming around the sun or moon on particularly cold days in the winter, the phenomenon struck at least a few townshippers as unusual during warmer weather.
