Tourism Eastern Townships goes all out for the 2019 summer season

By Emilie Hackett,  Special to the Record – Tourism Eastern Townships (TCE) and its many partners have launched the 2019 summer season, offering a variety of new activities all around the area. They have also launched significant marketing campaigns across Quebec and the neighbouring markets of Toronto, Ottawa, and New England. “With over 10 million annual visits and over 900 million in expenses, tourism in the area is always very strong,” said Francine Patenaude, chief executive of TCE. “Our visitors truly love the Eastern Townships, and in recent surveys we have noted that 98 per cent have seen their expectations met, while 25 per cent expressed that their expectations were surpassed while visiting the area.” See full story in the Friday, May 24 edition of The Record.
