Members of the Townshippers’ association and local Liberal Party supporters had an informal sit-down with Orford Candidate Guy Madore and Kathleen Weil, the Minister Responsible for Relations with English Speaking People, Tuesday. Although Weil was delayed more than an hour in her arrival by prior engagements in the Lac Megantic area, Townshippers’ President Gerald Cutting (centre) said that he looked forward to the opportunity to discuss the future of the Secretariat for relations with English-speaking people as well as other matters related to the needs of the local English population.
